God Saw Me Differently

There was a time in my life when everything felt heavy, like I was just existing, not truly living. I wore the label of “single mom” like it was my whole identity, and somewhere along the way, the world convinced me that I wasn’t enough. Not strong enough. Not worthy enough. Not good enough.

But God had a completely different perspective.

Every day now, I’m honestly blown away by His love. The more I spend time in His Word, the more I realize that understanding it isn’t something to take lightly, it’s a gift. A deeply personal, intimate gift. There’s something so powerful about reading scripture and actually feeling it come alive in your spirit, like God Himself is speaking directly to you.

Through Jesus Christ, I’ve learned that I was never disqualified. I was chosen.

Not because I had everything together.

Not because I was perfect.

But because His love doesn’t work like the world’s love.

The world will measure you, label you, and make you feel like you have to earn your worth. But Jesus reminds us that we already have it. He calls us chosen, loved, and seen, even in the moments when we feel the most invisible.

Getting closer to Him didn’t just “fix” my life overnight. It transformed my heart. It shifted how I see myself. What once felt like a life defined by struggle now feels like a journey filled with purpose. What once felt like loneliness now feels like constant companionship with God.

I’m not just a single mom.

I’m a woman chosen by God.

I’m growing.

I’m healing.

I’m becoming.

And for that, I’m beyond grateful.

If you’ve ever felt unworthy, overlooked, or lost, please know this, God hasn’t forgotten you. He sees you. He knows you. And He’s calling you closer, not because you’re perfect, but because you’re His.

And that kind of love changes everything.
